Mumbai – In a glittering ceremony held at the iconic Hotel Taj Lands End, Bandra, Jain Irrigation Systems Limited once again proved its mettle on the global stage, securing the prestigious "State Export Excellence Gold Award" for both the 2022-23 and 2023-24 fiscal years. The grand "State Export Award Distribution Ceremony," organised by the Directorate of Industries, Government of Maharashtra, celebrated the stellar achievements of industries driving the state’s economic growth through exceptional export performance.
The coveted award was presented by the Hon’ble Minister of Industries, Shri Uday Samant, and proudly accepted on behalf of Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. by Joint Managing Directors – Mr Atul Jain. This dual recognition underscores the company’s consistent leadership and significant contribution to India’s export landscape.
A global leader in micro-irrigation and agriculture technology, Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. was lauded for its exemplary performance in the Plastic and Linoleum Products sector. In 2023–24, the company received a Gold Award and a cash prize of ₹51,000, driven by impressive exports of ₹87.43 crore from its PVC Foam Sheet Division. This remarkable achievement was echoed in the 2022–23 fiscal year, where the company once again clinched the Gold Award and a ₹51,000 cash prize, with exports soaring to ₹342.28 crore across its diverse range of Plastic Products, Micro-Irrigation Systems, PVC & HDPE Pipes, Moulded Articles, and various Sheets.
Jain Irrigation’s excellence was recognised in two distinct categories: Large-Scale Enterprise in the Plastic Products Sector and as a 100% Export-Oriented Unit (EOU) in Foam Sheet Manufacturing. This consistent recognition from the Government of Maharashtra highlights the company’s unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and global outreach.
