Jain Solar Water Heating System - PUF Insulation
The salient features of PUF insulation are as follows:
- Rigid insulating material, minimum 90% closed cells.
- Remains durable for years.
- No thermal bridges.
- High mechanical strength, maintains insulation effectively.
- Compression strength → > 1kg/cm².
- Water absorption → Upto 3% of foam volume.
- Effective temperature range → -40° to 150°C.
- Heat conductivity factor → <0.02kcal-m-hr-°C.
Jain Solar Water Heating Systems are insulated with selective grade CFC free PUF as insulation material. PUF insulated collector and tank ensure superior performance with minimum heat loss.
HDPE clad PUF insulated precast pipes are used for insulating the system piping and hot water distribution piping upto the end use points.
