News @ Jains - Jain Irrigation Bags  55 crore Export Orders

Our Plastic Sheet Division has received US$ 12 M (Rs. 55 crores) of Order from two of our customers in American markets. These Orders are for a newly developed Wood Grain Plastic Sheet product by the division. Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. over the past 24 months has concentrated its efforts in the building materials segment and has gained a fair share of this market. Plastic Sheets used in this industry at present is a meager 3% but continues to show a rapid growth.

Building and construction market continues to be bullish and value added products continue to have good growth and demand. Added to this, the recent catastrophic hurricane damages in the southern part of the country will lead to reconstruction efforts that will keep the construction segment buoyant.

Company will execute these orders in current fiscal. The company has positioned itself as a reliable quality supplier and is continuing to make the necessary investments in strengthening its infrastructure to meet the growing demands for its products in overseas markets.
